Paralympics Here We Come

Exciting times as I accompany my friend, writer and wheelchair dancer Diana Morgan-Hill, to the paralympic opening ceremony rehearsals. Here we are on our way to the Stadium. Diana, with her dancing partner the gorgeous Olympian Mark Foster, was the runner-up in the BBC's Strictly spin-off Dancing On Wheels last year.

Not allowed to say or show ANYthing about what's going on inside of course, except it's already looking incredible.

Meantime, back at home, somebody had been missing us. She must have been watching and waiting every morning for 5 and a half weeks.

I am over at Author's Electric today talking about eight ebook publishing tools I couldn't do without.

Bye bye, thanks for visiting, come again soon.

A Bargain Leather Kindle Cover!

For the past year or so my Kindle has been carried around in a variety of casings, from A5 jiffy bag to padded make-up bag. I could never allow myself to part with the vast amount of loofah required for a piece of Amazon's leather gorgeousness. Life-changing though I knew it would be. Being able to carry around an entire library - complete works of Shakespeare, Tolstoy etc etc - with a handy shop attached should I finish them, was comforting and life-changing enough.

But then came:

And I now have one of these. The cuddlyness of my Kindle has gone through roof. I keep on opening and closing it just because I can...
